2022

In 2021, I had a moment where I flirted with the idea of completely quitting art. I was burnt out from my day job, and losing my self-confidence rapidly. I wanted comfort, I wanted fun. In the midst of Covid, many of the things that provided that sort of support (friends, going out, travel, libraries, museums) were unavailable. Amidst all of it was the uncertainty, and social strains (BLM and Asian hatee), which made me feel a sense of hopelessness.

<< good luck out there >>, is a depiction of anxieties, fleeting thoughts, and the search for hope and joy in the midst of collective confusion.

I completed the series in Feb 2022.
